On offer are these lovely striking tongs. They're in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable light ware however exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as notable light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of them. They're of traditional form, the arms beautifully decorated with a belt & buckle cartouche - the centers of which have been left blank / not engraved. The grips are in the form of a lion paw. Two miniature marks are present - one is a 3 & the other appears to show crossed arrows with L to the left & A to the right - possibly French, circa first quarter of the 20th century. These tongs measure 15.8cm (6 & 1/4 inches) in length & are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
