On offer is this trio of matching historical forks. They're in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - notable ware mostly to the backs & edging where the base nickel silver (brassy tone) is notably showing through; extensive scuffing & scratching too commensurate with age & usage but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the trio. They're of traditional form, plain in design yet stylish in appearance. Their reverse side has been marked for the East Asiatic Shipping Company with flag motif - "Det Ost Asiatiske Kompagni". Both were produced by Dansk Forsolvningsanstalt Kobenhavn (DFA), Denmark, circa Art Deco era 1930's. They measure 20.2cm (8 inches) in length & despite the condition issues raised are ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
