On offer is this lovely collectible nautical souvenir spoon. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional spoon form, decorated with a part-enameled applied handle terminal for "S.S. Britannia" - Launched in 1925 by the Anchor Line of Glasgow & journeyed from England to Bombay. Unfortunately she was sunk in 1941 by a German auxiliary cruiser called "Thor". This souvenir memento would've been produced circa 1930's - 1940's. This historical spoon measures 12.7cm (5 inches) in length & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
