On offer is this lovely collectible tea set. All three items - teapot, sugar bowl & creamer/ milk jug - are in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - there are a number of areas of ware exposing the base Britannia metal (dark grey); notable dents to all items (please refer to images) as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the set. The set is of traditional form, each item beautifully decorated with the same design showing a bright cut inspired vacant floral wreath with ribbon bow surround - the detailing is of a good standard & stands out on display. The teapot also retains original ebonised handle & lid finial. All interiors retain their original lining & are still presentable - notable ware & scratches however. Sheffield produced by Philip Ashberry, circa early 20th century. To give an idea of size the teapot measures 25cm (9 & 3/4 inches) in length from handle to spout end & 12cm (4 & 3/4 inches) in total height to the top of the lid finial. A lovely traditional set which despite the condition issues raised is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a tracked & insured postal / courier service.
