On offer is this lovely antique spoon. It's in good condition overall, the silver shines up well still - light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form & shows a handle which has been shortened & professionally joined at some point in its history - the horizontal bands contrast really well with the handle border edge. The handle is marked Sterling Silver & the bowl is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, 1914 & the maker the Barker Brothers. It measures a charming 11.3cm (4 & 1/2 inches) in length & weighs 22g. A lovely unusual spoon ready to be collected & enjoyed once again! The postage quote is for a Royal Mail tracked & insured service.
