On offer is this lovely collectible cheese stilton scoop. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - there are a few small areas of ware over both sides of the shovel bowl exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone); light scuffs & scratches too commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, beautifully decorated with an attractive handle terminal showing rococo inspired floral scrolls & shell patterns - this pattern appears on both sides & the back of the bowl also shows a decorative motif. Sheffield produced by William Hutton, circa first quarter of the 20th century. It measures 20.7cm (just under 8 & 1/4 inches) in length & is ready to be used & enjoyed once again!
