On offer is this charming antique preserve / jam spoon. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, the handle terminal has been beautifully decorated with an attractive design which shows on both sides - the front also features a tiny vacant cartouche. The back of the bowl has a delightful floral spray with faint traces of original gilding. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield produced, circa late 19th century - marked EPNS. It measures a charming 12.6cm (5 inches) in length & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
