On offer is this lovely antique collectible sugar sifter. It's in good condition overall, the remaining silver plate shines up well still - notable ware however over both sides of the handle exposing the base nickel silver (brassy tone) as well as light scuffs & scratches commensurate with age but as shown all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form, the bowl has been decorated with a series of holes perfect for sifting / sprinkling & the handle has been beautifully decorated with a bright cut inspired design complete with pierced highlights around the top area which display ever so well still. Birmingham produced by Ainsworth Taylor & Co, circa late 19th century. It measures 15cm (around 6 inches) in length & is ready to be collected & enjoyed once again!
