This contemporary collection rug is made by a special co-op in the Anti-Atlas range of Morocco. The zen like checkerboard design is influenced by Japanese zen temple garden designs. Made in the Anti-Atlas region of Morocco where checkerboard designs, by the Ait Amar tribe are quite traditional, this rug is a contemporary take on a traditional weaving. Size is 9'6' x 6'2 Custom sizes & designs available. 100% wool! symmetric knot & medium/long pile designer: Alexander Jowett This particular rug is made from all natural hand spun wool with a very dense weaving structure.
