This bowl was wheel-thrown then carved to appear like the trunk of an aspen tree. I use a variety of slips & stains to decorate the surface hoping to capture the likeness of aspen trees found in Colorado's backcountry. This listing is for a single, small, aspen bowl with a black interior. This bowl is made with a stoneware clay body then glazed in a high-fire electric kiln. It is dishwasher, microwave & dinnerware safe. The dimensions are 6 wide x 3 tall. Every piece is one-of-a-kind & signed J.E.Hatch. Orders typically ship within 1-2 weeks. Custom orders are welcome.
