We present an extremely rare, matched set of three Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian rugs. These woolen-crafted floor artworks have a main background of soft cream. in the midst of still whiteness, concentric rings feature a dynamic dance of sage & olive greens, umber, ocher, almond, persimmon, orange, & marigold. Created in the 1960s, this family of shag-tastic rugs vary in size & shape. Measurements of each rug are highlighted in the rug's composite pictures. The small sizea rectanglemeasures 77 by 54 inches, & covers 6.41 feet by 4.5 feet. As with most vintage floor decor, it has some wear, but not nearly as much as one might expect after fifty-plus years; this rug is in very good condition. The medium sizea circlehas a diameter of 97 inches, or 8.08 feet. A vintage rug, it has wear commensurate with its age & use. There are several stains on the underside that do not affect the upper side, & do not show when the rug is laid out. Portions of the edges of the rug have experienced significant wear; however, the broad center is in very good condition. The large sizea rectanglemeasures 138 by 98 inches, spanning 11.5 feet by 8.16 feet. A vintage rug in very good condition, it has wear commensurate with its age & use, & on the underside there are two stainsslight, dark areas. However, those marks do not mar the top side, & do not show when the rug is laid out. Rugs will be shipped individually, as three packages. Our estimated shipping cost will be adjusted to reflect actual shipping costs, once an order is processed. If the actual shipping costs are greater than the amount we have estimated, then an additional charge to make up the difference will be required. If they are less, the difference will be refunded. The three rugs once graced the home of a nationally-renowned voice teacher. All have been professionally cleaned recently, & are ready to be rolled forthperhaps upon your floor? Incredible to find a matched set of three rugs of this era, it is our intention that this rare trio be sold as an intact group. We admire these Scandinavian rugs' concentric counterpoint of stillness & movement, played out in the vibrant colors favored in the mid-twentieth century.
