Antique or vintage letters to make the words CHRISTMAS, NOEL & JOY Beautiful vintage wooden printers alphabet capital letter blocks, pre-used with lots of character & fabulous patina. They were most likely used for printing posters & to date all the while from 1860 to 1960. The price is for one word, depending on the number of letters used, please see option which word? Size & condition: The letters measure approximately Height (face) : 42 mm, 1 5/8 Width (face): Varies Depth: 22 mm, 7/8 The letters are in very good vintage condition, with no damage but as used items some staining from ink, remains of old glue on the reverse, dust in the crevices & a few minor knocks & bumps. The letters for sale are the ones in the pictures - I am being very picky about the condition, these are beautiful & genuine old letterpress letters. The letters are of course mirror images of the letters they represent, having been originally made for printing. There are other letters available individually in various sizes & fonts.
