The brim is not a bought plastic insert. Brims are handmade here in house, they are shorter & softer than typical hats. They are super comfortable yet still completely hand washable & incredible durable. Hand built by two human makers ( apes/April & bird/Rich) with love, care & pride here in Rhode Island USA.
