Here is a beautiful antique hand-hammered copper Arts & Crafts/Mission table lamp. The lamp base has repousse roses on the base on all four sides. The lamp also has beaded surround accents at the bottom , mid-bottom & around the top area. The lamp base measures 16 1/2 in. tall to the top of the socket holder. Just the lamp base itself it measures 14 1/8 in. It is definitely handmade as you can see a few imperfections in the metal & the top area where the socket is looks to have possibly had a repair, but I am not positive. The base is lightweight & unmarked anywhere that I can see. It does not sit totally flush, as the top right corner lifts some off the surface. It still stands fine but someone may want to put something in that corner to make it totally flush. The lamp base is in good as is vintage condition with some tarnish areas, some blackening in the metal, the aforementioned possible repair at the top by the socket, & also that it does not sit totally flush to the surface. The cord on this looks 1960-70s to me while the lamp looks 1920-30s. The cord looks to be replaced but not the socket. There are no holes in the metal( the black areas are not holes), & it has not been polished so it has a wonderful aged patina. Perfect for Arts & Crafts, Mission, Edwardian, Eclectic & Boho decors.
