It is difficult to imagine that this modern & stylish bedroom range was designed & manufactured over 60 years ago. The designers, John & Sylvia Reid, were employed by Stag Furniture from 1952 & this stunning piece was part of their pioneering Stag C range of bedroom furniture. Unusually for the period, there are no handles, only recessed hand grips which accentuate the attractive colour contrast in each piece. The wardrobe is in a rich walnut veneer with a contrasting black ebonised oak trim & black legs. Inside there is ample storage space. to the right hand side are five shelves for shoes. To the left is a 17" wide hanging area with rail. An additional touch is in the inside doors, a cufflink holder & tie rail. Nowadays, this compact wardrobe makes an ideal hallway show & jacket storage space or stylish storage area in any part of the home.
