Gorgeous atmospheric porcelain lamp. Inspired by the magic of dusk & dawn. This piece was paticularly inspired by the cycle of the seasons & the variety & beauty of the Cornish hedgerow. This handmade, porcelain lamp is slip cast & sandblasted using an intricate hand-cut paper stencil as a mask. I sandblast the work until the areas that are covered by the stencil stand proud. The stencil is then removed, revealing the design. This piece is pure creamy porcelain, slip cast & sandblasted before being high fired & diamond polished before being wired up. Each item is handmade in my small garden studio in Cornwall, ensuring you receive a truly unique piece of work. This item measures 15 x 7.5 centimetres approximately, which can vary slightly due to the handmade nature of this item. All the designs have been professionally tested & are certified as compliant with all relevant UK & European electrical safety standards. All lamps come complete with a 1.8m (6’) switched flex & bulb. This lamp comes with a UK plug & SES fitting, US & EU fittings available, please let me know when you order.
