This style from my custom wedding platter collection is a handmade round casserole bowl stamped with the couples' names & date (optional) along the rim of the piece. This beautiful piece can be used for serving, baking, or as a centerpiece. It makes a great wedding or anniversary gift. The piece is glazed in ivory white & antique blue with some variations where the colors overlap & blend. These platters measure approximately 13.5 wide & 2.5 tall. Please provide the couples' names & date in the note to seller box upon checkout. Names are printed on the piece as shown. These custom platters ship in 6-8 weeks. These platters are hand thrown on the wheel. They are then hand stamped & personalized. After slowing drying to the leather hard stage for a few days, it is trimmed & the hand pulled handles are attached. It is dried completely over a week's time & then bisque fired to 1940 F. After cooling completely, it is carefully glazed & receives its final firing to 2232 F. Each firing takes a minimum of 24 hours to complete. The entire process from start to finish for a piece takes about 6 weeks. All of my pottery is food-safe & non-toxic. It is dishwasher, microwave & oven safe. To protect your pottery, never expose it to extreme or drastic temperature changes between cold & hot. Because all of my pieces are hand made, there may be slight variations in coloring & textures giving each a unique character that is functional & beautiful. Use it well, & enjoy.
