Bevan Funnell REPRODUx Georgian Style Mahogany Pedestal Jardiniere Plant Stand. Bevan Funnell REPRODUx founded in 1945 are renowned for their craftsmanship & quality reproduction antique furniture, the company is based at Newhaven (near Brighton) Sussex, England. It has several printed numbers to the underside of the tabletop & the makers mark REPRODUx in a gothic script under one leg. A really charming & beautifully crafted tall plant stand. Constructed from mahogany it has a lovely warm colour, & has a feel of craftsmanship & quality. Nicely turned stem with pedestal legs which have carved groove decoration on the upper side. Nice table top with a slightly raised edge, which does have a few light scratches there are also a few scratches to the stem & to one leg. A lovely mahogany item of great quality & colour. It has been completely wax polished which helped with the minor scratches to the top, the stem also it helped but these are much deeper & while the eye is not drawn the marks remain fairly deep - please do study the photo's. It is approx 98cms in height or 38.5 inches. The top has a diameter of 25cms or approx 10 inches. in weight it's just a little less than 1.3kgs.
