This gorgeous one-of-a-kind throw quilt is perfect for chilly autumn days. It is hand-dyed, hand-quilted, hand-bound, & machine-pieced right here in my studio. The top is made with naturally dyed second-hand cotton, while the backing consists of soft second-hand fabrics. It can be used as a cozy home quilt, decor, or as a thoughtful sustainable gift. I always try to use locally available plants & food waste. Dyestuff used: Onion skins Avocado peels/pits Black beans Rock Rose (Cistus) Acorns Pinecones Natural indigo PRODUCT DETAILS Size: 155 cm x 140 cm/61 inches x 55 inches aprox. Top fabric: 100% Cotton Batting: 90% Cotton/10% Polyester Backing fabric: Cotton/Viscose Binding: 100% Cotton Thread: Pearl Cotton Care: Handwash in tepid water with a pH-neutral soap, dry flat out of direct sunlight, & iron on a medium setting. The quilt comes prewashed & with detailed care instructions.
