Have nothing in your home that you don't know to be useful or believe to be beautiful William Morris Enchanting Coffee/Mocha/chocolate cup. Good tendrils & scrolls on peach ground. Gadrooned gilt rim. Distinct ornate handle. Pattern number 4109. Not stamped but is attributed to one of H & R Daniel's design. H & R Daniels is a little known manufacturer of porcelain & earthenware. Founded in 1822. Ceased trading by 1846. During the 24 years the pottery was in operation. It was considered of equal stature with Spode, Minton & their contemporaries. Based in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire. Considering the age, the cup is in excellent antique condition. The dimensions are 3 wide & 2 7/8 tall This magnificent collection were lovingly curated, catalogued & research by a British Pottery expert of 1750 - 1900 British Potteries for over 50 + years.
