Description
These beautiful porcelain vases I produce by hand in small series. They are formed by slip casting porcelain. The outer surface is sanded by hand after the first firing & glazed with an opaque wood ash glaze developed in-house. The vases therefore have a matt surface. Each piece is unique thanks to the wood ash glaze. Ball d = 10.5 cm; h = 13.0 cm Colours: Snow white with a sand-coloured wood ash glaze Inside the vases are glazed transparent glossy. These pieces are fired twice, once at the high temperature of 1240 o C. After the two firings, the vases are very robust. The porcelain pieces are food safe & dishwasher safe, but because of the wood ash glaze, I recommend washing them by hand. These porcelain vases are suitable for casual flower arrangements. Since they are not very high, they also look good as table decorations on dining tables. Individual blossoms also come into their own here. The vases adapt to different furnishing styles. The porcelain vases are very suitable for all lovers of a relaxed & simple style. Each of the pieces is individually handcrafted in my Berlin studio.
