Made from recycled frames & plates, this beautiful piece of art is the perfect 'something special' to make your family portraits, baby pictures, wedding pictures, landscape photography & more POP! The simple turquoise & magenta hanging eucalyptus pattern in the white china make this frame feel so soft & relaxed & is so easy to incorporate into minimalist & nude-toned decor. This square frame is just too cute to pass up! This frame measures 10 1/2 squared & fits an 8 1/2 by 8 3/4 image (yes, a bit of a strange picture size, but hey, that's what scissors are for, right?). Every piece of china was lovingly & purposefully placed, adhered & then grouted to create a completely one of a kind piece which can really elevate your decor. T H E P R O C E S S . . . Caring for our planet by reusing & repurposing gently loved furniture & home decor is a practice that I value in both my personal life & when I create art for sale. I love getting to give 'old' objects new life & find treasure where others may find trash! So, to create these beauties, I comb thrift stores & secondhand shops in search of fun, interesting picture frames & bright, vibrant china plates. Then I bring them home & participate in a very rewarding activity - smashing plates! I then carefully sift through & place each uniquely shaped piece of ceramic onto its frame until the whole thing is ready for grouting. I love that each & every one has a personality all its own. No matter whether I use the same plate for multiple frames, each one is totally unique.
