Description
This is a one of a kind appliqued quilt. A sleeve has been sewn on the back of it so you can hang it on your wall. This scenic quilt is of a large buck deer & a doe with fawns on the other side of the river, trees & mountains, with a eagle flying during a beautiful sunny sky. I have machine quilted around the deer, trees, mountain, sun, clouds. Also I machine quilted a deer silhouette on the quilt in the border next to the applique. I hand quilted the deer prints around the border. On the back, I use brown thread you can still see the outline of the animals & trees. The applique used in this quilt is frayed edge which means the edges were not turned under, the pieces of this quilt were cut out & permanently bonded to the fabric with fusible web. All fabric used in this quilt is 100% quilt shop quality fabric. I used warm & natural batting in the middle & the back is black 100% cotton Kona fabric. Measures: 37 1/2 inches wide by 32 1/2 inches tall, This quilt can be machine washed in cold or warm water, either tumbled dry on low or laid flat to dry, a medium iron may be used if needed. ~I take great pride in my workman's ship, I only allow quality handmade items to be shipped to my customers so you can appreciate it & enjoy them as much as I do.
