The body of the silver coaster is encircled with embossed girdles, each accented with a band of ribbed decoration. The upper & lower portions of the body are embellished with applied moulded borders to the rims. NOTE: The majority of such bottle coasters have a wooden base; it is a sign of quality when coasters have unlined, solid silver bases.
