This Cashmere/pashmina blanket is designed & produced in Nepal, in a workshop with ethical work conditions & salaries. Each blanket is made from finest goat's wool/fur from the Himalayas of Nepal. The process is entirely handloom which involves collecting of wool, sorting & hand spinning of the wool in the the wheel(charkhas), weaving, finishing, labelling & packing. This handwoven process is the age-old tradition, art, culture & heritage of Nepal especially women. Each piece is unique because we do not mass-produce. This is something that brings more joy to the work as you can see all your effort applied in the final product. Due to this handmade process, there are also small variations & imperfections.
