This Cashmere/pashmina blanket is designed & produced in Nepal, in a workshop with ethical work conditions & salaries. Each blanket is made from finest sheep wool/fur from the himalayas of Nepal. The process involves collecting of wool, sorting & hand spinning of the wool in the the wheel(charkhs), weaving, finishing, labelling & packing. This handwoven process is the age-old tradition, art, culture & heritage of Nepal especially women. Each piece is unique because we do not mass-produce. This is something that brings more joy to the work as you can see all your effort applied in the final product.
