This striking Statement Desk was lovingly handmade from reclaimed Scaffold boards that were no longer wanted or needed for their original purpose. Our aim was simple, to give this timber a new lease of life & a new purpose as a bespoke Desk with the classic industrial style hairpin leg design. This desk can be finished with concealed bolts for a small additional cost & please contact us before placing your order if this is required. This Desk has 2 cupboards with concealed hinges & push to open door catches. (internal cupboards approx 22cm high X 33.2cm wide) The boards are dowelled & bonded together & the 40cm long legs are made from 10mm steel bar to form a solid yet beautiful Desk. This desk is also available with steel box section X legs (please select from variations menu) The reclaimed timber is taken through various stage treatment & sanding processes to ensure a visually striking & smooth finish, whilst still showing the scars of its previous life which we feel add to the character of each individual item. We will be happy to colour to your choice, including Beeswax or varnish if you prefer something different please make your selection from the variation list, alternatively please feel free to contact us should you want something that isn't currently listed. This item is shipped flat pack & includes all leg fixings & no tools are requires to assemble as we use hand tightened wing nuts on the bolts.
