Then wet your bars and the inside of the grips and simply slide onto your handlebars. You should then rotate the grip so the thicker side is towards the palm and leave them for 24 hours. These ChunkyMTBgrips are equally as easy to uninstall. Start off by sliding a screwdriver with a dulled point (or something similar) under the grip. Be careful not to stretch the grip or scratch your bar. Then squirt Rubbing Alcohol, Window Cleaner or water under the grip. Then just twist the grip off the bar and you’re done! Or if you have access to a compressor, just blow them off. ESIGrips: Cleaning Your Grips You should wash your grips when you wash your bike to maintain their tacky feel for the best grip. If you don’t wash your bike make sure you remember to wash your grips when you can no longer see thecolouror they’ve lost their tacky feel. Wash them with Rubbing Alcohol or Window cleaner until they’re clean. If you want to give your grips a deep clean, use Acetone and a rag; put acetone on the rag and rub the grips until clean.
