If you’ve been with us for a while, you’ll also know Twixmas is the time when we cast on a new blanket, filled with simple mindful stitches for an enjoyable few days spent doing what we love best. Add a quiet spot, a hot chocolate, and something lovely to listen to, and indulge in Twixmas to truly wind-down with your needles. The Twixmas Throw 2022 is a 10-ball project to knit a wonderful soft blanket in tranquil shades with a pop of pink to keep you cosy this winter. Designed by Nicola Valiji in Emu Classic Chunky, this yarn creates beautiful stitch definition and has a lovely finish with a soft and cosy feel. Being a Chunky yarn, it also speeds up the making, so you can see the beautiful pattern grow quickly. The Twixmas Throw 2022 contains the 10 balls of Emu Classic Chunky yarn you need to complete the blanket, plus a printed copy of the pattern. These are the 100g balls of Emu Classic Chunky yarn (164m/100% acrylic) that are included: 2 x Glacier (143) 2 x Petrol (170) 2 x Coral (167) 2 x Cream (102) 2 x Fog (121) You will also need a 6mm Circular Knitting Needle (60 - 80cm length to accommodate the large number of stitches). The completed blanket measures approximately 91 x 99cm ( 36 x 39").
