Loribafts, therefore, require 4 to 6 times longer production time than normal good Gabbeh carpets. Firmly twisted fine new wool gives the carpet shine and liveliness makes it very soft, cuddly and extremely hard-wearing. Loribafts are often discreetly patterned with simple ornaments.
