Handmade olive wood bowl 27+ cm, shallow depth with semi rustic live edge. Perfect centrepiece for any indoor or outdoor dining occasion. All our bowls are made by a third generation craftsman. The hardwood & impermeable properties of Olive wood make ideal for serving food & keeping the bowl stain & odour free. The bowls take a full 30 days to create. They olive wood is gently dried in the sun or kiln dried in the cooler months. They are then hand calved using a mechanical turn wheel. The bowl comes to life as the natural checks, knots & patterns emerge & the contours of the bark are used to design the final shape, depth & size of the bowl. Simple to care for; all our bowls come with care instructions & beautifully wrapped in a hessian bag.
