Although each flower itself only lasts about a week, they are guaranteed to make a major splash in any garden. With their sweet fragrance and bright petals, peonies are often regarded as the symbol of good fortune and happy marriage, and were historically used medicinally to treat a wide variety of ailments from headaches to asthma, and to ease childbirth. Each of our cheery, pink, 100% eco-friendly soy wax bowl candles is highly-scented and inlaid with dried peony petals grown in our Isle of arran coastal garden. We only use organic, unbleached, natural hemp wicks which have a beeswax coating to guarantee a slow, steady burn. Its large glass container also not only looks good, but is perfect for many years’ re-use as a vase or jar.
