They do this using Dunlop s JLB (Jointless Belt) construction - All Dunlop's radial street tyres are designed using a combination of Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as well as JointLess Belt (JLB) construction (either front or rear). JLB construction eliminates the belt overlaps resulting in smoother handling and a more stable contact patch with the road. The Tyres also have a CTCS (Carcass Tension Control System) which helps to control the distribution of casing stress for a smooth ride.As well as a fast-warm up time, new HCT (Heat Control Technology) which combines a long-lasting outer compound with a heat generating and performance-enhancing base layer for maximum durability as well as increased outright grip. The RoadSport tyres have a combination compound construction using both HISILICA and Fine Carbon. An increased Silica content is used to promote compound flexibility at low temperatures. Used to reduce a compound's reliance on temperature to offer optimum grip in wet and less than ideal conditions, as well as to increase mileage. Adherence is improved through an increased road contact at micromolecular level. In addition, the compound is reinforced more effectively, improving abrasion resistance. Please note - Tyre size shows if that specific tyre is a Tubeless Tyre (TL) or Tubed Tyre (TT).
