Victoria and Albert MuseumReproducing a recoloured detail from "Lion and Dove" a wallpaper frieze created by Walter Crane (18451915) for Jeffrey & Co. c.1900 alongside a furnishing fabric by Turnbull & Stockdale Ltd from 1909. Jeffrey & Co. had printed William Morris"s wallpapers since 1864 and Lancashire firm Turnbull & Stcokdale were admired for their handblock prints in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.2 designs.Wrap: 27 ½" x 19 ½" folded sheets.Tags: 2 ½" square with selfadhesive pads.
