Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Capsules are designed to combat the effects of having a cold. These capsules contain 3 active ingredients - the painkiller paracetamol (500mg), a decongestant called phenylephrine and a caffeine. The paracetamol will relieve the pain and help to bring down any fever that you may have by affecting an area of the brain that regulates your body temperature to help stop you feeling hot or shivery. The decongestant will help to relieve your blocked nose by causing the blood vessels in the linings of your nasal passages to contact and narrow to help decrease blood flow and the feeling of congestion. Your fatigue will be combatted through the caffeine as it's a mild stimulant. You can take 2 of these capsules every 4 to 6 hours as an adult aged 16 years or over, with a max dose of 4 in 24 hours. They can easily be swallowed whole with a drink and can be taken with or without food. Feel better quickly with these capsules that have been designed with you in mind.
