Description
A highly detailed working model, compatible with OO Scale railway sets, captures running number 2475 in an unlined Great Western livery c.1920s30s. The Dean Goods Class of British 060 steam locomotives were first built in 1883, designed by William Dean (18401905). A workhorse of the GWR goods department, the class saw long service at home and abroad through the World Wars; they were, notably, used on the lightlybuilt and winding Welsh lines. Known as the ‘standard goods’ to railwaymen, the final locomotive was withdrawn in 1957. Created with precision by Oxford Diecast.
