Description
Built between 1882–85 the A 415 Class Adams Radial Tank Steam locomotives ran suburban services in and around London and the south coast. Displaced by larger locomotives the radials found new homes on country branchlines such as working the Lyme Regis branch until 1962. Of the 71 that were made only 1 survives: Number 30583 preserved on the Bluebell Railway in East Sussex.
