Combining extensive feedback from real riders and hours of testing has led to dhb designing a pair of shorts tuned to the needs of the modern mountain biker. Innovative Fabric The real star of the show is the fabric. Highly technical with two-way stretch for a comfortable fit, this unique lightweight fabric uses different fibres on the inner and outer faces. The outer face is a highly durable nylon. This super tough layer is highly abrasion resistant, built to cope with the knocks and scrapes that are a part of off-road riding. The inner face of the shorts is constructed with Polypropylene. This is a highly hydrophobic yarn which works to move moisture away from the skin and to the out face of the fabric where it evaporates easily. This gives you a double benefit: riding in warm conditions, sweat escapes easier than with conventional fabrics. Riding in the rain is also more comfortable, with you less likely to experience the horrible feeling of cold wet fabric sticking against the skin and sapping your energy. The combination of the hard wearing and high wicking properties of this fabric in a lightweight, stretchy package really set these shorts apart out on the trails. Fully Featured It’s not all about the fabric. An adjustable waistband is there to help you get the perfect fit, with hook and loop tabs to allow adjustment on the go. This is helped by a silicone gripper on the inside of the waistband to keep the shorts in place, no matter how rough the ride. A high stretch and ribbed rear panel also helps you get a comfortable fit, whilst adding even more breathability. With a rear waistband shaped for additional coverage, two spacious open hand pockets, a secure zip pocket and secure dhb snap closures, these shorts are the complete package for trail riders looking for comprehensive shorts to help make their next session on the trails a great one.
