Harnessing the renowned properties of the Sportwool® yarn, this development is a triumph. The unique fabrics rapidly draw sweat away from your skin to ensure you remain dry throughout your ride. Add the natural elasticity of extrafine Merino along with the garment's minimal seam construction and you have supremely comfortable winter legwear. Strategic placement of Roubaix on the shins and a durable water repellent (DWR) treatment provide effective protection from sharp showers and road spray. Exceptionally comfortable yet supportive bib straps incorporate a lightweight, low-bulk, brushed-back panel that boosts upper-body warmth, while a zigzag stitch on the leg openings provides a great fit every time. They have spent more than 15 years working on the development of Sportwool®, which blends the physical performance of synthetics with the power of natural fibres. Merino blends Merino wool is often blended with nylon and polyester yarns to provide additional durability, faster drying time and dimensional stability without sacrificing its natural properties.
