Description
Built like a west coast framing saw, the DeWalt DCS577 is a high torque machine with a rear handle, sky hook and a left-mounted blade which provides right-handed users with a clear view of the cutting area and enables the cutting path to be quickly and easily established by eye. It is equipped with a brushless motor which delivers up to 5,800RPM; a diamond bore drive system ensures efficient torque transmission, delivering superior performance and faster cuts, making it ideal for first fix applications. The saw incorporates an easy-to-use tool free depth adjustment (65mm at 90° or 50mm at 45°) which allows for quick adjustments. It has an aluminium gearbox and blade guard for increased durability without excess weight, and an overmoulded softgrip handle for a comfortable and secure grip. An airlock compatible dust port enables the machine to be hooked up to an external extractor for a cleaner workspace. The DCS577 is part of the DeWalt Flexvolt cordless system. These powerful machines run on 54v Flexvolt batteries which enable them to complete heavy duty construction applications with the added benefit that the batteries are backwards compatible with the DeWalt 18v XR range of power tools as well.
