Description
DeWalt's 10.8v XR lithium ion range of cordless tools consists of compact, lightweight and highly portable machines which are especially suited to working in confined or overhead workspaces. With a significant size and weight reduction compared to tools in the 18v range, the drill driver and impact driver included in this kit can be used comfortably for longer when drilling and driving screws above head height and offer improved access when undertaking tasks like assembling cabinets, while taking up minimum space in transport and storage. The included TSTAK case enables both machines to be transported to and from the worksite along with their batteries and charger, and is fully compatible with the rest of the DeWalt TSTAK stackable storage range. Designed to meet the requirements of trade & industrial users, both tools feature fan cooled motors, all metal gearing and electric brakes, with ergonomic rubber coated handles to ensure a comfortable and secure grip. The DCF815 has a triple LED halo light ring and the DCD710 has a worklight above the trigger which ensure maximum visibility when locating recessed screws or working in poorly lit conditions. The batteries in this kit can be used to power additional tools in the DeWalt 10.8v range which include a reciprocating saw, inspection camera, laser thermometer, pocket clip worklight, combi drill, impact wrench and several models of laser level. The included multi-voltage charger is also suitable for charging lithium ion batteries from DeWalt's 14.4v and 18v ranges.
