Dear Denier's mission is to overcome the environmental challenges of traditional hosiery production, and make the most sustainable products possible without compromising on the quality. Dear Denier only use recycled nylon, recycled elastane and sustainable materials. As well as using renewable energy, their factories have zero-waste production and effective management of water and energy consumption. They use no heavy metals or dangerous chemicals in the dyeing process- cleaning polluting elements from the air and water and reusing the water. All packaging is 100% recycled and recyclable. Although Dear Denier production is C02 neutral there are uncontrollable emissions during the supply chain, due to this they have chosen to collaborate with 'Chooose', which invests in projects that minimise CO2 emissions significantly on the planet. Each product sold off-sets 200 grams of CO2. This is more than enough to ensure the brand is more than carbon neutral. Materials: 58% Lenzing Viscose®, 31% polyamide, 10% polyester, 1% elastane. LENZING™ Viscose is one of the most sustainable produced viscose fibres in the world. The manufacturing of LENZING™ fibres generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic Viscose giving you confidence that your fashion choices are environmentally responsible and have a low environmental impact. The fibres are derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources. LENZING™ fibres have been certified with the EU Ecolabel as meeting high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal, ensuring supply chain transparency.
