This is a budget friendly solution for covering surfaces in your home. The self-adhesive vinyl wrap can be used on any flat surface to add a design, giving a unique look to furniture, cover drawer fronts, shelves or give the backs of bookcases a decorative effect. This vinyl is heat resistant to 75C and durable to clean. This is a non-permanent DIY solution and is completely removable, hobbyists can use for scrapbooking or decorating dolls houses, the possibilities are endless! Application :- 1) Use a dc fix application kit to apply, it won’t damage the vinyl when smoothing out and includes a handy cutting tool 2) Overlap the vinyl wrap film a few mm to allow for shrinkage when joining 3) The vinyl can be used on craft machines, adjust blade setting to required thickness 4) The vinyl has a handy grid on the backing paper, to use as a cutting guide 5) The vinyl can be difficult to manoeuvre on surfaces like glass and appliances, lightly spray water first 6) Use a hairdryer on curved surfaces, it warms the vinyl wrap film making it more pliable for tricky edges Aftercare :- 1) Wipe clean using regular household cleaner, do not scrub the vinyl and wipe spillages that may stain immediately e.g. curry 2) Do not cut or move sharp objects around on the vinyl, it will damage it 3) Heat resistant to 75C, keep 12 inches away from naked flames dc fix Brand :- Made in Germany and it shows, with a 5 star rating for adhesion, opacity, lightfastness, shrinkage and durability. Unlike solvent based adhesives, dcfix has a water based low tack adhesive that allows you to reposition the vinyl during application, it then bonds fully within 24 hours, remove using heat from a hairdryer.
