Description
Cotoneaster horizontalis is a well loved deciduous shrub with a spreading,'herringbone' branching habit making superb groundcover. It is especially eye catching as a wall shrub, trained onto wires. In May Cotoneaster horizontalis is adorned with small pink-white flowers which turn into glossy red berries in autumn and attracting many birds. As colder weather sapproaches, the dark green oval leaves turn to beautiful shades of burnt orange and red before falling to reveal the silvery brown framework of branches. Height: 100cm (39). Spread: 150cm (59).
