The scales use four pre-set units, grams, pounds and ounces, millilitres for water and millilitres for milk. The maximum capacity of the scales is 5kg, and if the weight exceeds this an error message will appear. The scales also come complete with a tare function, this allows you to weigh ingredients accurately as you add them to the mix. The total weight of all added ingredients will be displayed when they are all removed. The scales also feature a low battery warning and will automatically shut off when 0 shows after a period of time.
