Variable Speed Settings The six-variable speed settings pulse function make mixing, whipping, whisking and kneading quick and simple. Speeds one and two are for slow stirring, mixing and mashing, three and four are for medium-fast beating and five and six are for whipping. The pulse function manually controls the stand mixer.
