Description
The purpose of a UV / Clear / Haze filter today is different to what it once was in the past. In the past these filters were used to block UV rays from hitting the film inside a camera. However, today all digital camera sensors have UV filter in front of the sensor meaning that these filters have become a protective measure for the front element of the lens that protects from scratches and debris.
