Cobra King Snakebite Satin Golf Wedge The Cobra King Snakebite Satin Golf Wedge features a nostalgic throwback, reminiscing about the rich history and evolution of Cobra Golf. The new wedge features a new SNAKEBITE groove design in traditional and full-face groove lengths. This is manufactured to maximise spin and produce more 'bite' around the greens. A re-engineered cutting method tightens groove tolerances, maximises groove volume and creates the sharpest and most accurate groove possible. The new design has made 11% deeper grooves, and 40% sharper groove edges to cause maximum spin on the ball. Cobra Golf's new groove system optimizes spin for wedge loft. A traditional groove length and narrower and deeper grooves can be admired within the 48-54 degree snakebite, which delivers consistent spin and trajectories on the lower lofted wedges used with a square or de-lofted face. Whereas, the 56-60-degree lofts feature full-face groove length and wider and shallower grooves to maximize spin on shots with an open face when the ball is more likely to make contact with the high toe area. The faces and grooves are CNC Milled on each wedge to create the most precise face and groove shapes for optimal spin and trajectory control.
