Cleveland Launcher XL Lite Driver The Cleveland XL Lite Driver has been stripped down to the essentials to save weight, but losing none of the performance, to provide a much faster swing at the tee. A bonded hosel has been added, without the weight-adding adjustability sleeve, and paired together with an ultra-lightweight shaft, making the XL Lite Driver 12g lighter and 0.25” longer than the adjustable version, so it swings extra quick. That added speed means it boosts your swing speed for more distance off the tee. Just like the XL Driver, the head design has been made much larger than previous Cleveland drivers. The XL Lite is able to generate the highest MOI ever achieved with one of their drivers - 5,200 g-cm2. This level of MOI means that the XL is incredibly forgivable, The XL Lite also features a new rebound frame which features two flex zones. These alternating zones work together, with one providing maximum flexibility and the other rigidity, to transfer more energy into the golf ball to increase ball speed and maximise the distance that golfers can reach on their drives. Cleveland designed this driver to provide golfers with more control at the tee, and they managed to do this by using a custom configuration is an inch shorter without counterbalancing for max control off the tee, while also providing players with even more control, an 8g weight has been placed inside the end of the grip which allows for better balance for more control without extra effort.
