During her impressive 30 year career, Beryl Burton won more than 90 British titles across time-trialling, road cycling and track pursuit, beating records previously set by men. We felt inspired by all that she had achieved in a male dominated sport yet also touched with sadness of the challenges she had to face and the lack of recognition she received during her lifetime.
